I made it all fit (barely)

This weekend was a whirlwind — two full days at the 2026 St. George Smuttastic Book Fair, five hours of travel each way, and more conversations than my introvert heart was prepared for. I’m exhausted in the best possible way, and before I collapse into a well‑earned coma, I had to jump online and say thank you.

Four hours of sleep and still standing

To every reader who stopped by my table, listened to me try to condense a complex, emotionally charged dark saga into a fifteen‑second pitch, or simply shared a smile — you made this weekend unforgettable.

To those who took a chance on a new author, especially the readers who bought all four books in the Somewhere Aching Series — you are incredible. Your support means more than you know.

(Book 4, A Karma to Kill For, comes out September 19th! Pre-order now!)

Love! Love! Love!

And to the reader who asked to purchase Harlots and Heroes, my short‑story compilation I’ve never promoted anywhere… you absolutely made my day. I didn’t even know anyone knew that book existed.

The Somewhere Aching Series is deeply personal to me. Judith’s journey toward cathartic love, Nicolas’s fight for wholeness, Justin’s struggle to understand who he truly is, and Lizzy’s awakening — these characters live close to my heart.

My zodiac-inspired merch was a hit!

I write for readers who want more than a billionaire fantasy. I write for those who want real-life fairy tales. Stories about people like you and me and your next-door neighbor. I write for those who love rainbows and sunshine only because they follow the intensity of the storm. I love rawness and realism. And I really love a hard‑earned happily ever after.

We are all somewhere aching, my friends. That’s where we find each other and heal together.

I’ll talk more next week, once I’ve fully recovered from peopling. I am, after all, an introvert trying to survive in an extrovert’s world.
