Lady in White

Lady in White is a collection of songs written, recorded, and produced by Tanya Madsen.

Lyrical and haunted in a hybrid genre of alternative: electronic beats and synth sounds, and Broadway musicals: piano-centric and choir-style vocals, all with the intent of creating the tone and mood of a haunted angel.

Lady in White legends are found all over the world. They refer to sightings of ghosts—women garbed in white sighted walking down hallways and disappearing through doorways or shimmering on the moors. It’s all rather gothic which is, of course, the intent.

My lyrics are often about pain, sorrow, anger, revenge, unconditional love, and redemption. The aim was to heal through catharsis and these songs have served this purpose.

Now, I share them with you.

This album is all over the map in terms of genre. I have super happy songs mixed in with really sad ones. My most ambitious album by far.

This is where all my super sweet songs ended up. A lot of love songs here and every single one of them influenced by a relationship of mine or someone close to me.

Always Midnight

Music Album

A collection of songs that didn't seem to fit anywhere but somehow came together in this compilation. Some of my darkest work, like "Trying to Be Me" and "Closing In." It may be too sad for some listeners, so beware!
